can't wait for your pattern. I liked the other one but was put off by the seperate gusset/ handle. Would really like to see how it is done in one piece.

And I like your stitches... they seem more interesting.

I would guesstimate a 6 - 8 hour timeframe for finishing the whole thing, which is pretty quick, I think. Maggitee nicely volunteered to test my pattern and so far she's doing ok. I do still plan on posting it soon, but want to try and make sure there are no omissions, since I've never written one up before. I'll try and get it posted in the next day or so. I just love it, even if it wasn't quite as unique as I originally thought!

It's gorgeous! I love the colorful one too. Did you line it? It looks like the stitches are close enough that it'd be hard for something to fall out, but I just wondered. Seems like it'd be tricky to make a lining for that, but then again, I'm no good at sewing yet.

I'm not a seamstress either, so I haven't lined one yet. It probably would be a good idea though, at least to create an inside pocket.
