It's me again, stuck again!

Question

I'm stuck on another one of my projects. It's a butterfly blanket in the April/May 2007 issue of Crochet today. round 9-11 it says "Continue as established working 1 dc between increases in each round." It goes dc in next 5dc, 2 dc in next dc. So can anyone tell me, do I add one to the 5dc or to the 2dc, or am I totally off base?:bang

The pattern does say 1 more and not just 1 dc. if that helps or not :wlol

You add the extra dc to the block of 5dc: so the next round would be "6 dc, 2 dc in next dc; then, presumably, 7 dc, 2 dc in next dc - etc. etc. The increasing bit is the "2 dc in next dc".
