Hip scarf pattern?

I am searching for a hip scarf pattern. I want it to be danty and with beads or coins on it (for belly dancing). I have had no luck searching the 'net. I hope one of you can help me out with finding one. The easier it is to make the better as well... Thanks in advance!

How about a simple scarf pattern, open work, that you add the beads or coins on while you crochet or after? Find one that works width and then make it as long as you want.

Have you considered using a pattern for an open work triangle shaped shawl. You could adjust the size so it would fit around the hips and add coins as you crochet it.

Country Cotton Shawl - link to one worn around neck or hip. This looks like something you might like. I like it!

 

Oh there's the Light and Lacy stole CAL (link) and that stole is long enough to fit around the waist. However it doesn't taper to tie easily, but could work... I'm making it in baby sport yarn and it's nice and light.

 

 

How about a swiming suit cover up?

 

Mini Stole - link, this looks short enough to work, maybe.

I think Debbi-a1 found a good one! Its the light weight shawl. I am gonna modify it a bit (No fringe and by using a different weight of yarn).
