How much to charge??

I post this already in the for sale section, but wanted to post here as well...a mod can delete it if deemed necessary.

 

Ok, I have some old crochet books I would like to sell (my rattie girl is having surgery on Tues and I need to get some funds together) these books are mainly form the 70's (i still have to dig them out from the back of the closet to find out what I have

 

Anyway, how can I figure out what to charge plus estimate shipping charges?? I've never sold things I've had to ship via the post office before so am a bit stumped...

look for it or something similar on ebay, to give you some pricing guidlines

Figuring shipping charges???.....go to the USPS website and you will find complete lists of shipping cost. Books can be sent the cheaper media mail rate. Of course you would need a kitchen scale to know how much each wrapped book weighs.

I go to the post office and get things weighed if i am not sure, I have been cought out before not charging enough for postage. good luck with ratty I lurve rats they are so clever xxxxx
