LOL, Renee. That book is on my to get list. I just finished making one of the hats in it for my daughter, but there's a couple I'd like to make for myself. And your secret is safe with me. ;)

Google Apple jack pattern from croshay. I made it for a guy at work that has dreads down to his waist (all his) so I had to add some rows but it turned out great!

Hi - I can't see the picture on the link you posted so I'm not sure what style you're looking for. Here's a couple links, one for a tam & another with an open end for a ponytail or dreads. Both are crochet patterns.
