Granny square patterns

Hi girls! (ladies)

 

I'm teaching my crafts group how to crochet. It's quite basic so I thought about teaching them how to crochet granny squares.

 

Anyone have any nice ideas - or pictures of patterns made from granny squares which I can show to the ladies (aged 10 to 70!)

 

Would be really nice to show them some RL stuff (just a pics.. If you're not in Norway this coming Thursday)

Most of the patterns have pictures and there's quite a few to choose from =) Always my first choices when looking for patterns of any kind =)

Anett, I made this granny square a few months ago... I think you wanted pictures to show off? It's just a basic granny but on point.

What a lovely afghan, Julie! I'm making two quite large afghans - gonna put them together and crochet around into one large afghan. Hopefully it'll be done by the end of the week.. hopefully

www.crochetpatterncentral.com has squares arranged by 6", 7" and 8". This is the easiest pattern place I found for granny squares.
