Good Morning America/People Magazine

I was watching "Good Morning America" this morning and they were interviewing someone from People magazine to talk about this weeks "Best and Worst Dressed" issue. At the end of the segment, they were talking about the trends that are "over" and the last one that this "fashion expert" listed was "anything crochet--you don't want to wear your grandmother's doily" or something along those lines :(. Did anyone see this? I was just appalled that this "expert" generalized crochet, then slapped an insult on the end.

I could understand being specific, like saying "crocheted scarves" or some other specific item.I do believe everyone has a right to their opinion, but I think it was a poor choice to generalize and label a craft as "over". Ugh. I subscribe to People, so I am just waiting for the mail to show up to see if they have a page or pics or something that they put together.l
