How far is Turlock from my neck of the mountains? Do you ever come up this way or to South Lake Tahoe?? We're right off the freeway on the way there!

Ha ha Turlock isn't on the way to Tahoe. It could be on the way to Yosemite, though. If you take 99 South from Sacramento, you drive through Stockton, Modesto, and then Turlock. Nothing but orchards here.
