"Pull up 2 lps in afghan stitch"

Hi all,

 

Please...help. I don't understand what this means? Am I decreasing? I thought this meant to insert hook and pull two loops through one stitch, which doesn't make sense to me. How do you pull two loops through one stitch. Or, does it mean to pull one loop through two stitches? I'm soooo confuuuused.

I'm not sure, either. I'd check crochet.about.com or anniesattic.com and watch their little video of the afghan stitch. Maybe that'll help. Sounds like you YO, pull up a loop, YO, pull up another loop, and then continue with the instructions, but without the rest of the instructions I can't be sure. Is there a part of the afghan stitch where you do that?

TRY THIS AND SEE IF IT WORKS. INSERT HOOK IN NEXT ST AND AGAIN IN THE NEXT THEN YO AND DRAW THROUGH BOTH STS YOU WILL HAVE DECREASED BY ONE LET ME KNOW HOW IT TURNS OUT.
