I have added a new design to my site. It is in the object wing. It is a poppy. The description is in the blog.

Wow!! That's amazing... How large is it and what size yarn/hook did you use? It looks absolutely REAL. Just too cool...

The poppy head is 9" across. Length with stem is 16". I used a #8 ( I think is an H but seems bigger) I used several different ypes of yarn. The Flower is Cascade 220 with a novelty multicolored wool. The stem is Lopi. The center is black needlepoint wool. The stamens are black wire. I still might add a leaf(s) but am still deciding. I also will be adding black beads to the tips of the stamens. Just could not resist putting up now.
