Embellishments

I'm now completely hooked (pun totally intended) on Etaria's patterns ...but they look so much nicer when the little rosettes are added as the finishing touch...anyone willing to share their favorite method of attaching these embellishments?? Who hot glues? Who sews them one?? Who has come up with another method that I haven't thought of?? And is sewing them on similar to sewing a button on?? Thanks for helping!!!

I never use glue on wearables, or anything that will be washed. Usually using the same yarn/thread that the embellishment or garment is made of, I will sew on the embellishment. I make sure I catch any edges that could get caught on something and usually sew flowers on very similar to a button.

Thanks Smartcat!! I'm very into crochet, but not so much into actual sewing...guess I've got to brush up my sewing skills!!
