Lion Brand Knit and Crochet Vintage Patterns for today

Saw this today at B&N. Not bad. I wish it were just crochet. There's a knit jacket pattern that I prayed was crocheted, but it's not. Some cute things and some nice hat patterns. Anyone else see it? I didn't buy it but I probably will eventually. Because I'm weak and have no self control.

I have it. I especially bought it for the Romantic Cardigan on the cover but have yet to be able to make it work!

 

There are a couple of other crochet tops I really like, the gray and black I would like to do but without the "tail" in back and there is a nice jacket too.

 

It hasn't paid for itself yet but I am hoping it will! I will go back to the Romantic Cardigan sometime soon!

I love that Romantic Cardigan. This book is on my request list from the library. If, upon closer inspection, there are more than a few (so specific, huh?) patterns that I like, I might buy it. Especially if I can use a 40%, or even better 50%, off coupon at AC Moore!I should probably learn to knit one of these days!
