Finding those old magazines?

My mom has always loved thread crochet and is looking on how to get either if not both Decrotive Crochet or Magic Crochet. Are they still in publication and how does she get them if they are?

I was in my local news shop the other day and they had a new issue of Magic Crochet. Ebay is a great source for back issues and subscriptions. Good luck in your search.

 

 

Went back to my local news shop today. I looked at the Magic Crochet issues they had and it was dated April 2005.

Decorative and Magic were just American republications of the patterns in the British "Crochet Monthly". For almost a year now, they are both published as subtitles of Crochet Monthly. Each monthly edition has a mere dozen patterns. You can still subscribe.

 

As the previous reply says, look at eBay for back issues. That's where I filled the holes in my collection.
