Hi everyone! I am working on a pattern for a summer shell my ? is after I ch the amount needed the pattern say's to turn then ch1, sc in each of first 3 sts, do I count the ch1 as sc or just a turning st? Thank's for any help.

It's just the turning chain. Make sure to sc in the first sc and not the next or your count will be off.
