Question

well, not really....

i bought the LA 63 square afghan booklet that alot of you have used for a CAL

now i have my 7in square with 25 stitches - :cheer

how in all that is holy do you get 3sc in the corner AND 25 sc evenly spaced, especially on the sides!? and then when you come around the next corner with 3sc in it, you've just used one of you 25 stiches. go to the next corner - another of your 25 is used for a corner....

confuseded and dont want to be.

i REALLY like this afghan (as does my husband) and would truely love to make it, but i'm on my 2nd square and getting very discouraged already!

please help

Hi Liz

Try to count the number of stitches you have on each side, then evenly space the stitches accordingly . Are you ending up with too many or not enough ?

Try to get as close as possible to the 25 . I think a lot depends on the square you are making. On some it is easier than others .

Like Natasha said , it really won't matter if you're a stitch or two off here and there. When you put it all together it all falls into place well .

Come on over to the 63 crochetalong group and we'll all help you out as much as we can .:)
