problem with stuffed toys (LARGE pics)

Question

Hi there :)

When I make stuffed toys, the bottom section always looks wonky. The area that has the decreases that is. It doesn't look as neat and perfect as the areas with the increases. I'm very careful with tension and guage and all that, but it just doesn't look the same...

Any ideas?

I think it looks good. I love to do stuffed animals and the decreases always give me more problems than the increases. You need to make sure that the decrease stitches are very tight. My biggest problem is the stitch after the decrease seems to be a little looser than the rest. I have to make sure I pull that stitch tight.

Keep working at it, you're doing great.

I agree with FelixLake. The stitches look great; they are tight and even. It's the nature of decreases that they don't have the same 'lool' as increases and straight stitches. I think you're doing a fine job and just remember to keep your decreases in the bottom if you don't like them.
