Question
Kelle
I am currently working on my first Mrs. Who Shrug (and my very first non-hat / scarf wearable). I am working in a medium chenille, and have started the main shoulders / back in a sc dc pattern (not sure what this is called), which is fairly dense. I'd like to make it less dense as it goes down the arms (read: more holey) and then flare out at the ends of the sleeves.
What I'm asking for please is stitch design advice on how to achieve the gradual holeyness from shoulder to end of sleeve, knowing what my "base" stitch is? I probably should get my hands on the crochet stitch bible, but figured y'all with more experience would be able to offer assistance as well.
TYIA for any help / direction you can offer.
~K
