I get almost all of mine from the ranch (my place in ne Washington) where it grows. I've made a few from sticks friends supply, and could use ordinary "lumber" i suppose. I'm working now at "Woodcraft" (google it... you can order from the web) where they have a great selection of woods including some of the exotic burls and spalted woods that Brian uses to turn into beautiful things.
