crocheting wool soakers

Recommended Posts

Is anyone else out there crocheting wool soakers for their wee ones?? I would love to chat with others who use wool soakers- crochet or knitted. I do both but am crocheting some right now. :hook

I love my knitted ones, I even have some that are from recycled wool sweaters. I heard that crocheted ones are better for night time and heavy wetters- due to being thicker than knit.

I actually crocheted some with acrylic. They work just as good but aren't antibacterial like wool is supposed to be. I'm a laundry freak, so I'd wash wool just as much anyway. Here's a picture:

I have knitted soakers but haven't crocheted any, which is funny because crochet is my first love and Patti who sells the dandelion dreamers pattern is my friend. :) I also belong to another forum that is all about wool soakers, wooly wonders forum.
