Thanks much for the link! I was glad to see the explanations for crochet terms listed after the links to the various projects, as the 1850 stitches are somewhat different from stitches of our day. There are some really lovely projects in there.

The two 'mitten' patterns would be pretty for a bride. Numbers 50 and 73.

 

Also there's a cute lined purse, called a reticule, #23.

Might be fun to make.
