Hook brands - pros and cons

Hi

I am new to this site. I live in Mi and enjoy crocheting baby blankets - one of the nice things about living in a state with a cold winter is crocheting blankets/afgans.

I found the post from May 2005 talking about hook brands helpful. I noticed that my favorite type wasn't in the list.

It is the Meno Trigger Grip. I think it is a Boye hook in the handle, but the handle is just the best!

I was to the point where I thought I would have to give up crocheting due to my wrist & hand. Then I bought one of those meno triggers and now I crochet with no pain.

Has anyone else worked with them?

Thank you for all the great information shared on this site.

Hi,

I have the start of carpal tunnel and I have arthritis in my fingers.

I think the fact that there are many ways to hold the meno trigger plus the fact that you aren't having to hold something so small and as tightly is what helps me so much.

They do cost more then the average but I use G & J most often so that is the 2 sizes I got. Oh and once you get your hands on one they just feel so smooth and like it was molded for your hand.
