New mittens put to the test.

Recommended Posts

We just got a ton of snow and I got to try out the mittens I made recently. I am happy to report that my hands stayed very warm and dry. Normally my hands end up freezing and wet by the time I finish removing the snow on the car. :lol

It is getting pretty cold here, too! I found a pattern for adult mittens that I am going to try out for me! Then it is off to slippers for my little ones!!

What type of yarn did you use?

I actually just made it out of scraps, but I think they were acrylic. I lost the wrappers a long time ago, so I have no clue what brand they were. I really need to come up with a system to organize and keep them.:lol I used the lion brand family of mittens pattern and other than the fact I seemed to not be able to make them the same each time, they were easy to make.
