Bluey snout pattern

Row 10: inc, 2dc, inc, down left side of nose between each row do 8dc, along the black top of nose 4dc, down right side of nose between rows 
 

this is part of the pattern. What does it mean to go between each row. I’m just so confused with this part.

Hmm.  You can stick your hook almost anywhere to make a stitch.  One way is, instead of making a stitch into the top 2 loops of stitch of the row below, you can stick your hook between 2 stitches of the row below, yarn over and complete a stitch that way.  So, I guess you could call that between rows, sort of, but I think the way I worded it is a little clearer (assuming my guess is correct).

Is the pattern on the internet, or a pic of the finished Bluey from that pattern?  I learned to crochet before the internet and didn't have anyone handy to ask questions of when I got 'stuck', but a lot of times I was able to clear up a question by looking at the pattern photo.
