How to stop a crochet blanket that is acrylic wool blend from shedding

So I have completed a blanket for my bed. It I'd a twin sized blanket . Now ot is shedding all over the place. I didn't know this could happen or I would have chosen different yarn. But now that I have a twin blanket how do I stop all the shedding? Is there actually a way to stop this? The yarn is Yarn Bee Chunky Spiral Yarn, below Freezing.  It is made out of : 60% Acrylic, 28% Polyamide & 12% Wool
