Wth did I do

Sock 1 has a row of Grey at the front with the red before I seam the heel and do the first row.. Pic 2 has the heel seamed first row done and it's only got 1 gray also 😵

Nvm dropped it in my coffee! So I frogged the Grey on both and just going to start from there again 🙃

We discussed sock 1 previously and it looks right according to what I can see on the photo so go back to that other post.

I found our what I did though.. I did a 40 stitch grey then started the heel the other I just started the heel

The directions as given in other thread has you starting at heel seam, working half the heel, continue across red part, work other half of heel bringing you back to the seam.  The important thing here is not so much where you start but that you make it all the way around.
