Working with a chart. . . help!

sedie

Question

Hello all,

I'm going to begin a blanket that needs to be three times as big as the chart I have to work with. Can anyone give me a link or an easy explaination as to how I can increase the size of my chart?

My image is already graphed, but I'd like to know if I should count each square as two stitches or how I can make it larger.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,

Sedie

There are a couple things you could do. One is to make four stitches for each square like this:

XX

XX

That would make it 4 times the size though, and not 3.

You could also make more background stitches which would look fine as long as your picture is centered. Then you could make a large border. Hope this helps.
