Edging for a 12 point round ripple

Does the pattern have instructions that you're having trouble with, or are you just looking for design ideas? 

I personally am in the 'less is more' camp.  

For something that is geometric like a RR, you don't want to add frilly lace, you'd want something simple.  A nice plain edge is a reverse SC / 'crab' stitch, it makes a sturdy and finished looking edge.  This stitch makes my brain hurt for the first couple of stitches (U R going the WRONG WAY!)  but after that it calms down...
