Help! Crown Stitch anyone?

I am working on an afghan that uses the crown stitch which much be very rare. I can't seem to get it right, can't find it on line.....has any one else done this?

 

Afghan is in "Crochet Collection" by Leisure Arts, page 38 ...it is called "Victorian Elegance". I am going to chart it out with symbols to see if I can make it make sense. I will not be defeated!!!! (Victorian people had WAY too muccch time on their hands...)

 

I could use help!!! Most probably more ways than one!!!

i found it i knew i had a good book when i bought it. it is in the crochet stitch bible book and consists of 5 rows and also in english stitches. if you want to know more you can pm me. looks pretty stitch not tried it yet.

I charted it out using my pitiful little crochet symbols and finally got it! Now, I don't know if I really LIKE it! I am making it anyway!!!
