Question
sovietpop
I'm making a top, and the instuctions say
ch101
row 1 (right side): dc in 4th ch from hook *ch1, skip next ch, dc in next ch: rep from * to last ch; turn -99 sts.
Now this to means that I double stitch in every second stitch, but if I do that surely at the end I'll have half the amount of stiches I had at the beginning (45 or something like that) .... but the pattern says I should have 99 stitches .. so I'm obviously reading this wrong.
I'm new to crochet, and eager to learn. Any help much appreciated.
