Anyone in DC or Surrounding Areas?

I'm in the Gaithersburg Area of Maryland and am in desperate need of a group to get together and crochet or Knit or cross stitch. I don't have a lot of income and some of the LYS's require that you be a customer at least every so often to come in and knit/crochet in their store...

Hi!  Have you checked your local library?  My Crochet Club meets at ours every Monday morning, from 8:30 to 11:00.  They don't charge us a penny, and seem to be happy that we're there!  They treat us like Royalty!  We also meet every Friday from 8:00 to 11:00 at a local Assisted Living, where we receive the same wonderful treatment!  Hope these suggestions help you--my Club has a great time at our meetings!
