Ann Taylor Ripple Sweater/Poncho

I was out walking around downtown Dallas with the sweetie Sat. evening and saw this beautiful purple ripple poncho/sweater item. It had a cowl/turtleneck. I swear it was in an Ann Taylor window, but I can find the item on their website. This has capitivated me and I'm obsessing about how to make it now. I've figured out the ripple in a round part, but now I'm struggling with the inc/dec that will be necessary. How do you inc/dec a ripple??

Hi Kassi - thanks! I'd thought of the round ripple blanket too, but thought "nah...", but now I'm thinking, "welll.....maybe?" I'll have to give it a go. Thanks for making me think of it again.
