Sew granny squares together qusetions

Hi.I was wondering for the Lily sugar n cream granny squares bag pattern  it says to sew 4 motifs tog for front and sew 4 motifs tog for back?how do you do that? I want to use the same Mc yarn to sew. What techniques sewing do make the seams invisible of motifs? thanks. Any different sewing techniques tips would be nice.

Mattress stitch is probably most invisible, but if you haven't made the motifs yet (or, have only made a couple of them) I'd 'join as you go'.

Hi. So do they (the pattern)want a person to Mattress stitch to sew the mofits together in this (pattern picture )

You  have 2 threads open about this pattern; I responded to you yesterday in the other thread, when you gave more details--the pattern said to crochet the motifs together, which is maybe not as invisible as the mattress stitch, but would be sturdier, which would be a good thing for a tote bag.  Here is a link to the other thread
