pattern help

Lyndsay Cunningham

Question

Hi everyone I'm starting a new pattern and I'm a little confused and could use the help please. My pattern says to ch 73 row 1 (wrong side) DC in the fourth ch from hook and in the next 6 chs, (2dc, ch 1, 2 DC) in the next ch. * DC in the next 17 chs, (2dc, ch1, 2 DC) in next ch; repeat from * 2 more times, DC in next 8 chs.

I'm not sure what it means when it says wrong side. Are they saying that this will be the inside of the dress or am I suppose to crochet on the wrong side of the chain?

Thanks for any help,

Lyndsay

^ What she said.  Often a pattern will state which is the right or wrong side, especially if pieces have to match up in a seam. Crochet looks a little different front and back, so you want them all in the same orientation when you seam them up (it looks better).  Put a safety pin on the 'Wrong" side of each piece as you make them, then make sure the safety pins are all on the inside when you make seams.
