Question
JaneMarcy
Hi Everyone,
One of my favorite yarns is Caron Simply Soft, but I recently made an afghan out of it in black, and the darn thing is shedding like crazy. It looks terrible--all "pilly"--and it sheds black lint when I use it. I haven't had this problem with other Simply Soft colors. I've washed it and dryed it several times hoping that eventually the pilling would stop, but it's not getting better at all.
I'm going to write a letter to the manufacturer about it, but I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem. It just seems to be the black that does this. Any suggestions for dealing with this problem? Can anyone recommend other black worsted weight yarns that don't do this?
Thanks,
Jane
