Dyeing or Felting First???

I don't know which category this should be under...maybe both. But I want to know whether I should dye my bag before or after I felt it??

Any advice??

I think either would work out, however, if you do it before I would think that you would have a better chance of the dye absorbing where if you do it after felting, the fibers are closed up and more dense. Does that make sense?
