Just started, help me!

So I just learned to crochet about a week ago. I find it very comforting and it helps with my anxiety. I just honestly don't know where to start. I've made a scarf so far, which turned out fine. I know how to do the basic stitches, but I get confused looking at patterns. I'm more of a visual learner, my only issue being that I can't find any good videos for bare beginners like me. I'm working on a hat, but it isn't looking too hot. I'd love to make some hats for all 7 of my nieces and nephews, and other stuff that would come in use for me. I do own 5 horses, would love to make something for them, not that I know anything that I'd be capable of making aha. Does anyone happen to know any videos of easy projects for me to start off with? I'd prefer that they be step by step so I don't get confused if they go too fast.

If you want to make hats, Crochetcabana has good info on that http://www.crochetcabana.com/html/round_hat.html   At the bottom of the page is a video for making a hat with worsted weight yarn, so that may be helpful.

There are also photo tutorials, have you tried any of those?  No worries about going too fast lol

For your horse, maybe a fly bonnet when you have a few projects under your belt, or a plain blanket.
