undoing the foundation chain

Had to try and explain to someone how to undo the foundation chain and found this nice tutorial to pass along. Mary

I have always done that, thats why I don't worry about extra chains at the beginning! Nice though, that's it's online, I would have thought everyone did it this way, but not so, huh, lol

I thought everyone did this too! I was surprised the first time I had extra chains, and figured I could pull them out. Ha! I did like you, and teased them out with a tapestry needle. It worked out just fine.
