Information about hook needed

I have a fairly small hook made like a Susan Bates but, marked  made 2 u.s.a .  Do you think this would be a size B hook in a Susan Bates style hook?  Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Is it a steel hook, if so, it would be a size 2. Otherwise, it may be comparable to a B. What you may want to do is try a gauge swatch if you have a particular pattern that calls for that size.

My mother has given me some crochet hooks, one is about 2/3 the size of a hook, has CRONIT and made in England 0, dont know what this one would be used for, another one has Morrall's Aero 21/2, this one looks a very old one and could have been my grandmothers, and another one has 2.50 DISC 12 on it. The rest of them are mostly Millward ones and very fine, which I think where the ones my grandmother used when she used to crochet.
