PDF help

I want to make a pdf file available for download on my blog and have no idea how to go about doing it. i know I saw somewhere the html code you have to insert for the link, but I can't find it now - plus I'm not sure if you have to have the .pdf file "hosted" somewhere? Somebody help, please??

You will need to have the file online somewhere, most ISPs offer webspace so see if you can host it through them. Once it is uploaded the format you would use is "<a(space)href="http://natalie85.blogspot.com">Clickable text for the filename here</a> . Replace the address with the address of the pdf file and replace (space) with an actual space, had to change it so it would show up.
