Friendship Afghan

If I'm putting this in the wrong place, please let me know. I'm still a newbie!

 

I'd love to get involved in making a friendship blanket. One where a bunch of people all get together, each make a different "square" then send them to their friends and we each end up with a blanket made by all our friends... Please let me know if you'd like to start one!

 

I'm thinking I'd like one that's 8X8 which would make 64 squares so I'd need 64 people.

On this forum, you have to have 40 posts to participate in (or even see the threads for) swaps. So keep posting and when you get your post minimum, there's a bunch of stuff going on now and scheduled for the future.

We're actually in the midst of a 6" square swap for the same thing! Once you get to 40 posts, check out the Blue Squares Too thread in the Swaps forum. We have over 50 participants, and everyone is making 35 squares, keeping one and sending the rest to me and I'll sort them and mail them back out.

 

With so many squares, it's really easier to pay for just two shipments instead of one for each participant.
