Hi, This is my first visit to crochetville. I was looking for an online charity to crochet for and found this to be perfect. I desperately want to help the gulf coast victims any way I can. Unfortunatey I don't have much money to donate but I do have ALOT of yarn. I would love to crochet blankets or whatever else is needed as soon as possible. Does anyone know how I could get started??

Hi! Welcome to the forum.

 

Just a suggestion, You could make things like blanket and toys for them to get later, or you could make things to sell to give them the money now.

I am looking into a group that is selling craft items online and donating all but the shipping cost to the Red Cross. I posted about it in the link about the Hurricane victims. If you can't find it I"ll sift through it.

I have gotten email replies back and I"ll post their content in the hurricane thread as well. Thanks for wanting to help!
