why is the beginning thread in the middle so hard to find? Compared to Red Heart there is no comparison with regard to the softness...just very frustrating to find the beginning thread. Any tips would be appreciated.

GOOD QUESTION! Thanks for bringing that up!!! I have found the same thing. Red Heart is by far the easiest yarn to find the middle beginning thread. Some are nearly impossible or you wind up having to pull out a huge quantity & rewind it to find that beginning. Wish the yarn manufacturers would all take a clue from Red Heart on that little feature. Would make life a lot easier! Sometimes it ruins the beginning of a new project from the frustration.

ILTY is the EASIEST... just pull the yarn that is on the outside of the yarn going into the skein. It is not a release yarn like many others, that IS the center pull
