Twinkie Chan and Afya Ibomu

There is an awesome book I got for really fun beanies and hats that young folks would like, it's called "Get Your Crochet On: Hip Hats and Cool Caps" by Afya Ibomu. Also have you heard of Twinkie Chan's book: "Twinkie Chan's Crochet Goodies for Fashion Foodies" Twinkie makes the most hilariously adorable scarves...all with food ideas...(the sushi scarf is a dream!) check her out, she has an etsy shop, Flickr, and a website. Both books satisfy a creative urge: zany (Twinky) and a really nice take on different style hats (Afya) for those who want a modern funky twist to a fabulous craft!

I just bought Twinkie Chan's book, I do a lot of scarves for charity and I thought they would be so cool for the kids. Also, I have Afya Ibomu's book on the cool caps but she also has another one (which I have) called Get Your Crochet on! Fly Tops and Funky Flavas. All three are definitely worth a look.
