Diagram question

Question

I've been looking at the diagrams at that Russian website (www.uzelok.ru), and I'm wondering what the numbers mean. You know those numbers that are all around the diagram showing measurements? Do they stand for centimeters or do they stand for the number of stitches and rows?

I think that they stand for centimeters and are the dimensions of the finished pieces. But I haven't tried converting any of the numbers over to inches. You might just try that for one of the diagrams and see if the results make sense. When I get a bit more time (Ha, Ha), there's a sweater on there I would like to attempt to make for me.

Okay, thanks. I think it is centimeters. When I checked it out with the measuring tape it made sense. It's probably not going to work out, but I'm attempting to make a little wrap sweater I saw there, except theirs is knitted. I'm just experimenting by using the basic dimensions they give.
