Help, Please!

I've been window shopping at eBay and saw some lovely yarns I'm interested in.

They are chenille and I don't know the differences in cotton chenille, rayon chenille or acrylic chenille.

I wanted to know the difference as far as a drape and weight (not sw or ww)?

Also I'm not sure if what I'm looking at is a good price. :blush

Hope the link works. Thanx for any and all help, it's much appreciated!:)

The cotton chenille is wonderful for washcloths. The rayon and acrylic are for clothing items and the thicker can be used for throws. They usually go ypp (yards per pound) and generally 500 ypp is bulky, 800 ypp is about ww, 900-1500 is what I consider a sports weight/dk, anything above that I would consider a fine/fingering weight. I may be off a little, but that is generally how I judge. Fiber Options and Rodney's Specialty Yarns, both stores on eBay sell chenille cheaply and charge actual shipping. You can save a lot that way and also mix two thinner chenilles for your own combos. Any other questions, PM me.
