5 1/2 hr/Lion Brand ?

Wasn't sure on which forum to post this.

 

For ypu gals who have made the Lion Brand 5 1/2 hr throw how did you go about finishing it?

 

I am nearing the end of the Lion Brand 5 1/2 hr throw and the pattern calls

for single crochet on the sides and 11 inch fringe on the ends.

 

Wouldn't single crochets all the way arounf with 3 on the corner be more stable and then add the fringe. WOuld 11 inches be to long?

 

Making this fo a very special person and I need the finishing to be perfect and

make this an extra special gift

 

 

Any help would be appreciated

Hi There - I made one (following the LB descructions - with the SC on either end and the fringe at top and bottom) I thought that was more work then doine a SC around. So for the remaining 18 (Yes I made 18 of those things) I did the SC thing with 3 in the corners and then my fringe. You can make the fringe any size really. I think I stuck with 12 on some and some I made smaller - due to the fact that I know my cat LOVES the fringe. Some I didn't fringe at all (the guys mostly)

This is super saver Red Heart - Black 2 strands and Lime Green 1 strand.
