It's beautiful! I think you could call it whatever! If done in Christmas colors it would make a lovely piece for a scarf or blanket!

To me it looks like a star, but only because the stems radiating from the center do not intersect the outer points. Radiate them from the center so that they intersect the outer points, and you should have a lovely snowflake. As it is, it is a very lovely star!

To me, it leans more towards star. If the design around it were not so solid, it might give it more of a snowflake feel.

 

Also, it works very well as a star, so maybe you just get two designs out of it.

Does it look like a snowflake?

It's supposed to be a snowflake. I ask my mom and she said it looked like a snowflake but then I asked two other people and they said star. Just looking for some feedback whether it looks like a snowflake or do I need to go back to the drawing board. Thanks.

 

 

Hmmm after studying the photos up close i think it looks like a star, I like the looks of the sqauare. Would be beautiful in red, white and blue..
