Different hooks for different yarns/stitches? (To help aching hands?)

My current project involves very simple but long rows of hdc but my hands ache badly after just a few stitches. I'm using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino yarn and although I have used this particular hook before it's my first time using this (very expensive!!) yarn.

 

I'm wondering if it's the combo of yarn and hook that's responsible?

I have ache problems too when using SC or HDC.. have u tryed like pencile grips, or even s stress ball, pop a hole in it the size of your hook,and slide your hook in the hole.

 

I'm going to try this. so the handle is bigger , I find my Tension hand aches before my Hook hand thou
