I have all the windows and doors closed and I have a sweater on. Yes it is COLD

I added a blanket to DD's bed tonight. This is my favourite time of year. I love it!

me neither. Sometimes I do between posts when we are chatting, but I'm drinking tea and eating zuccini bread tonight. How are your kids and grandkids, Mary?

Dh is on the phone with Ds right now. Youngest DD is doing good in Halifax, she is finding her way around. Oldest DD is good and she is coming up next weekend . The kids are all well. How is your family?

Glad to hear everyone is well. That will be nice to have your oldest DD and the kids up next weekend. My family is good. DH worked a bunch of overtime this week, today in particular, so he is worn out. DD is hard to entertain these days and school will be good for her.

 

My folks just called I'll be back in a minute.

My grandsone needs to go to school but he has to wait another year yet.

I'm back. My mom and dad just got back from a 2 week camping trip, so they were calling to say they were home safe.

 

Your adorable grandson will be in school soon enough, I guess. My DD was the same way, January birthday. It will be so good for her.

Where did they go camping at?

They spent the first week in Algonquin and the second at Bonchere Prov. Park near Pembroke. We visited them at Bonchere while we were up north last week.

So, I gave the thread a try this afternoon. I'm on the last round of a doily. I'm reserving judgement for after I block it. Have you worked with thread before, Mary?

Once again, I'm chatting with myself . I made lasagna today. DH was all praise for my sauce (once again from the can). It was good though. We had local tomatos too and they were delish!

I have worked with thread but I don't now cause I find it hard to see now.

Ya, I'm not sure if I'll be a thread person. I kept thinking the whole time I was making the doily...boy this would be fun with ww yarn

Mary, there is a knitting show in Kitchener on Sep. 12. I've gone the past 2 years. It is knitting only (), but I like petting the fancy yarn. They have stuff that is $70 a skein I also like seeing what projects people are working on, colour combinations, etc. It's fun.
