I have a callous on my thumb!

I bought a cusion thingie a few weeks ago and havent used it because it just felt weird. Then I discovered a callous on my thumb a few days ago. Does anyone else find the hook cushion things awkward? I am also finding that my stitches seem to be looser when I use the cushion, but my finger sure feels better while using it. I guess I will just have to get used to it.

I haven't had the callus experience, but I did notice when I was crocheting nonstop for a few days that there was a clear indentation on my left index finger from holding tension on the yarn! Hope that you find a way to adjust to using the hook cushions. I have some but haven't tried them yet.
